Do we need our own equipment to take part?
No. Camera and studio modules run from our Sydney training studio with full production equipment supplied. Field modules can also be delivered on-site at your own newsroom.
Can modules be booked separately?
Yes. Each module stands on its own, so teams can start with Field & Camera and add Studio & Segments or Full Newsroom later as needed.
How large can a training group be?
Studio modules are capped at twelve participants to keep hands-on camera and console time high. Online self-paced modules have no group limit.
Is this suitable for regional newsrooms?
Yes. Many of our participants work in regional bureaus with lean crews. The curriculum is built around resourcing constraints those teams face day to day.
How current is the course content?
Every module is reviewed each term with our instructor panel and industry partners so workflows stay aligned with current newsroom practice.
